Code of Ethics and Conduct
It is a privilege to teach this material. The rewards are tremendous. There is nothing more satisfying than to know that you have made a profound positive difference in a person’s life by sharing something that you love.
It is important to understand that as a Teacher within Tara Dhatu you represent the organization. Your conduct reflects on all of us. Therefore we request that teachers and coordinators do their best to observe these ethical guidelines while teaching or representing the dance
1) No alcohol or drugs
2) Responsible sexual behavior
3) No harming others through body, speech or mind
4) No taking what does not belong to you
5) No lying or misleading others, especially about ones spiritual accomplishments
The material is not secret but it is held within Tara Dhatu as a sacred trust and we ask that when you no longer wish to be a member of the Educational Program that you no longer teach the material. The dances and the methods developed around them are ever evolving and by making this commitment you are helping us to preserve the integrity of the material and the development of the community of practitioners.

I _____________________________________ have read and accept the above ethical commitments as long as I remain a participant in the Tara Dhatu Educational Programs.
